Deduplication:
There are many channels user can get to your online-shop (keyword advertising, email, media, affiliate ...). Different tracking systems are used simultanously to measure the traffic and sales of an online-shop. In order to be able to decide what channel was responsible for which sale and in order not to pay twice the affiliate-commission for the same sale (e.g. in two affiliate networks) a special system is needed, to distinguish between the channels, generating sales in your online-shop. This system is called deduplication system.
